How LeadSync product claims are verified
Summary: LeadSync version 1.3.0, chat-list scanning, opened group-member-list scanning, duplicate checks, direct Google Contacts creation, and 200-contact batching were confirmed by inspecting the published Chrome Web Store package. A controlled 1,000-contact end-to-end benchmark remains pending.
Verification method
- Downloaded the published CRX through Google’s Chrome extension update service.
- Verified the package manifest, version, permissions, host access, content script, Google People API wrapper, popup instructions, and scan/save pipeline.
- Compared the implementation with the public Chrome Web Store description, website, documentation, privacy page, schema, and AI-readable files.
- Recorded unsupported behavior and pending tests instead of converting implementation evidence into untested performance promises.
